“Hi! I’m Nestor, the founder of Sugarnest Extracts. I was born and raised in Michigan for most of my life, besides the 2.5 years I spent living in Saltillo, Mexico with my family when I was young. Cannabis was introduced to me in the beginning of high school, but I didn’t partake until later on. When I was 17, almost 18, I had an accident while playing indoor soccer that led to a broken back. I had fractures in three of my lumbar vertebrae. I was prescribed Valium and hydrocodone. I knew enough about painkillers then to know not to take those, but I was naive about Valium. It messed with my head, and I quickly got addicted without even knowing it. My parents caught on and made sure I wasn’t being prescribed anymore. I had to look for alternative sources of pain relief. I was already smoking cannabis, and I knew that helped. As soon as I turned 18, I went to a doctor and got my Michigan Medical Marihuana Program (MMMP) card, and so my exposure to cannabis grew. I graduated class of ’17 from Hope College, where I met Oliver. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. My passion for cannabis had only grown through college, being in the caregiver market, so after graduating, it only seemed natural to pursue a career in science and cannabis. That’s how I found hydrocarbon extraction, and thus, Sugarnest Extracts.”

My name is Oliver Goulet and I am the CEO at SugarNest. I started my career in the cannabis industry at 19 years old growing and cultivating in basement in a tent. I dropped out of Hope College to peruse my passion for cannabis because I saw how much it helped my brother who is an US Army Vet with PTSD. I saw how big of a difference cannabis can do compared to the pharmaceutical drugs the doctors had him on when he first got back from deployment. Seeing how much it did for him, made me believe in the medicinal side that comes with cannabis along with the recreational side. I am a firm believer that cannabis is a much better source for recreational purposes compared to alcohol. I am also a Nutrition/Mindset and lifestyle Coach. When I first started my cannabis journey I weighed 270 pounds and was addicted to harder drugs. Over the last 5 years I have been able to kick the hard drugs and lose over 90 pounds. Cannabis was a huge help with getting off of drugs and alcohol. I now teach people how to improve their overall quality of life and get over addiction by substituting their bad habits for good ones that serve them. I don’t just preach to my clients how to become the best version of themselves through fitness, nutrition and mindset. It’s something I live up to everyday. I have set a very high standard for myself, which includes the information, food, and cannabis I consume on a daily basis. My standard is passed shared by all of the companies I own and work with, which in return allows me to put out the best quality products for our customers. 

Hobbies include: Traveling, Working out, Hiking and being in Nature, Music festivals, Dirt biking, and seeking Adrenaline.

Hi, I am ASIM Oz Pitic; I do sales and marketing at Sugar Nest! I am a personable, tenacious accomplished, entrepreneur, interested in Real Estate opportunities, and a cannabis enthusiast for over 20 years.

My passion for cannabis has given me the opportunity to own and operated one of the 1st successful cannabis dispensary in West Michigan!

I have a deep understanding of business management, process development, and training.
